Send what you were trying to do, the exact error message, and a screenshot if you can.
Most printer problems are a stuck queue, the wrong printer selected, or a driver or port that changed after an update.
- Restart the printer and the computer.
- Confirm the correct printer is selected in the print dialog, and set it as the default if it is the one you use.
- Open the print queue (Windows 11: Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners → your printer). Make sure it is not paused or offline, and cancel stuck jobs.
- For a network printer, confirm the computer is on the office Wi-Fi, or connected to the VPN if you are working remotely.
- If it prints from one computer but not another, compare the printer port and driver. Windows updates sometimes switch ports or leave a mismatched driver. Try the built-in Windows driver before installing manufacturer software.
